● Do not put the phone in rice.

● Do not repeatedly attempt to turn it on to see if it still works.

Liquid and corrosion can continue affecting internal components. Although the iPhone 12 was manufactured with water-resistance features under specific conditions, this does not mean that every used device will remain protected indefinitely.
